
The Frontier Genetics annual online bull sale, hosted exclusively on AuctionsPlus, has concluded with outstanding results, achieving a 76% clearance and a strong auction average of $10,040. The final result reflects a high level of confidence in the group’s Brahman genetics.
A total of 75 bulls were sold from 99 offered, with two bulls selling for over $40,000, four for over $30,000, and nine for over $20,000. In total, 22 bulls sold for over $10,000, demonstrating strong demand for top-end genetics.
The sale was highlighted by two exceptional bulls. The Top Priced Red Bull was Lot 93, TARRAMBA FG Investor 5277 (PS) from Tarramba Brahmans & Brangus, which sold for $42,000 to Fairy Springs Brahmans, Taroom QLD. The Top Priced Grey Bull was Lot 34, BOOGALGOPAL FG Mister 5476 (PP) from Boogal Cattle Co Brahmans, selling for $41,000 to Elrose Brahmans, Theodore QLD.
The sale saw a strong clearance rate with bulls heading as far west as Port Hedland, WA, as far south as Goondiwindi, into the Northern Territory and to all corners of Queensland, including Nebo, Banana, Clermont, Forsayth, Goondiwindi, Cloncurry, Bundaberg, Taroom, Winton, and Collinsville.
Excellent value was also a feature of the sale, with 35 bulls selling in the $4,500 - $6,000 range, providing commercial producers with an opportunity to secure data-backed sires that meet the Frontier Genetics' high benchmarks for quality and performance.
